Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

loan

i havnt yet paid a payday loan its only been 1o days past no calls or letters then i get a call from a law office wanting me to go to court . I dont know whats goin on

From your post, I'm not entirely clear on what's going on, but if you received a payday loan, and you haven't repaid it for 10 days past its due date, then yes, the lender is going to take action to collect it from you. You may want to consult with an attorney in your area to make sure that the loan was legal - there is a lot of regulation of these payday loans including interest rates that can be charged, but in the long run, if you borrowed the money it needs to be repaid, or you will be sued, and they will do what is necessary to collect it from you.
