do i have to be served court papers of a court date for a civil law suit. there is a judgement against me but i had no idea of a caes??????

If you knew nothing about the lawsuit until very recently, you can file a motion to set aside the default and judgment. The sooner you do so, the better. It's probably best to retain an attorney to get it done, since it could be tricky.
