Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in California

My son was released before he served his sentence

My son is a juvenile and was charged with a felony. He was sentence to serve 10 weekends (6 for good behavior) in the juvenile hall. He served 2 weekends (6 days) and he was releases when he came to serve his 3rd weekend. I dont know if the officer made a mistake or not but I dont want my son to go back. I am not sure what to do. Is he violation his probation by not telling this to his probation officer (probation officer was not assigned yet)? Can you tell me what should we do?

Thanks a lot for your help.

I would not just let this go because of their oversight. It may just come back and bite you in the behind. It is best that you be straight and forthright with this incident.
