Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I really need and answer to the question i ask I have my daughters trailer in my drive way we own the property was turned in to the health department for occupyed trailer not that we had electric runing to it but that she was living in it in my driveway but we where turned in to the health department and now just using it for storage and as and extra bedroom but they say we cant so she had to sleep in my front room now that is no problem but it seems really unfare that if i own my own property and it is not hurting any own itis behind a fence driveway on the side of my home and is not and eyesore itis very clean so what would be a health problem of sleeping in it .

Local safety and health rules probably prohibit living in trailers on one's property; doing so causes sewage and other health problems and is unsightly. While it is on your property it is in view of the general public so the government does have limited power to control how it effects the neighborhood.
