Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

i am being accused of sexual harrasment that supposely started 21/2 yrs ago up to a year ago.i am a supervisor in a local big company .the accuser is claiming i made sexual remarks about her and it seems hr is believing her to the point that a full investagion is in process i am getting the fealing that she is being believed .she is taking comments and twisting them around to her benefit .what can i do to defend myself ??

You can be cooperative and tell the truth about what happened. If there were any witnesses to the comments, provide their names. You can request they bring in an experienced outside investigator, but they are not required to do so. Ultimately, the employer will have to decide who to believe and has the discretion to decide what action to take.
