I work in a department store. Can I file a sexual harassment lawsuit against a customer who made sexual comments and advances towards me while i was helping him find a suit?

A customer is not your employer. It is your employer that can be sued if you are sexually harassed at work by other employees or management. Also, if customers regularly do so, "illegally", and the employer fails to appropriately protect you and remedy the situation, then you might have grounds to do so. A one time insult is not grounds for suit.
