Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

Bench Warrant

I had my licence suspended in 2001. I believed that I paid for that ticket the very next day. I was able to get my car out of impound, pay my registration and licence fees at the dmv, pay for insurance, and I thought that I paid for the ticket at the court cashiers office. unfortunately I have no paperwork to prove any of this. I had a bench warrant issued and was recently arrested. I spent a night in jail, and am now in the process of digging myself out of this hole. I need to get copies of any paperwork from the courts that I can, apparantely in moving three times since 2001 I have lost anything I did have. I can't get through on the phone to ANY court office and no one can help me figure out what I need to do to even begin to solve this problem. I just want to clear my record if possible, or at least clear up this matter.
