Legal Question in Business Law in Colorado
Contract dispute
I was contracted to write some software and to have it completed by a specific date. I was not able to complete it by that date and my client imposed a large penalty. I never agreed to any penalties if I was late. Now my client has decided to not pay me, yet they are using my software.
What are my options to collect payment?

Re: Contract dispute
Sorry about the problems. I would bring the contract to an attorney for review. If they don't agree to resolve this matter, you must file suit.
Good luck.
