Bench warrent

How long of a life does a bench warrent have in Colorado? Do they expire after a certain amount of time?

It depends on the court and county, but usually a DUI warrant will last for about 2 years. After that, they close the case. DMV will hold up your license based on the Outstanding Judgment Warrant. This can be cleared up by paying the $30-50 for the warrant to the county clerk where the warrant was issued.
