License suspension
My father received a DUI in August last year and his license was suspended for 3 months (this is his 2nd conviction). He finally had his court trial about 1 month ago and is on home detention, etc. Nothing was mentioned about loss of his license.
Friday he received notice from the state that his license is being suspended for another 9 months. He has a hearing set to appeal this. Is this allowable since his license was already suspended for this violation?

Yes. He can apply for a probationary license.
