custody and moving out

I live with my mother but i would like to live with my father is there a process i need to tkae in order to move in with him or can i just go? (there is joint custody)

The answer to your question depends on how old you are. If you are under 18, you are not emancipated, and your parents are obligated to follow the court's parenting plan for you. If you are over 18, you are emancipated, and may live with whichever parent choose. You should talk to your parents about this, especially your father, and determine whether the court's custody and parenting time arrangement is flexible enough to allow for the change. If not, you and your father can request the change from the court.
