Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

If married for 13 years and going through a divorce. Is the wife entitled to money incurred during this time? What if all funds incurred during marraige are currently tied up in bonds and stocks. Husband also put these funds in a revocable trust which was made in 2006 during our marraige ( I s did not sign any paper work.

Yes, you are entitled to property accrued during the marriage of asset appreciation occurring during course of marriage. If the assets are significant, the process can be very tricky to navigate.

I believe you may be entitled to one half the bonds and stocks and the irrevocable trust so long as these monies were acquired during the marriage. However, if he brought the funds into the marriage you can still make a claim to them.
