Rights under the ada

Is is legal for an employer to Not provide adequate representation to a hearing impaired worker and terminate them without the benefit of a impartial witness or interputer present to assist in their understanding of the situation

I have read your question about the termination of a hearing impaired person. I do not think that the average employer is required to provide any "representation" for an employee they are terminating. That said however, if this employee did not understand why they were terminated, that would raise a flag for me regarding how this employer treated the hearing impaired. I think it might be best to visit with an employment lawyer and examine this in more detail.
