NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such nformation, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

There is no law that covers this point. You may wish to complain to the carrier. Keep voicing your complaints daily so that a track record is developed as they rely heavily on their records as shown in their computer. Oftentimes, I find that if you bypass the normal customer service agents and appeal to the "higher ups" you will get better results.

Call the office of the president of the company. You will get an assistant, but he or she will have far greater powers than the normal customer service representative. You may be successful in then having your service cancelled.

I agree with Mr. Jay. You need to make a record in their system of your issues, be professional and polite so they want to help you, and you'll have to insist on terminating the contract. Good luck.
