Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

used car purchase

On Wednesday night I purchased a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox at a local dealer. We did notice the salesman having a few problems with the keyless entry but did not address it at that time. We were unable to reenter the vehicle that evening using the keyless entry, had to use key setting off alarm with every entry. Returned next day for repair, attempted to pick up after repair was finished. Keyless entry still not working correctly. Now may be next week before getting car. Dealer states I have no other options than to wait on car repair. I feel since this was a problem prior to purchase they should allow me the chance to choose another vehicle. Is this reasonable? Have I just made a bad choice and gotten myself into a deal I can't get out of or change. My concern is that this vehicle has other ''computer'' or unseen problems. I have tried to contact the bank that agreed to financing to see if I can stop the deal on that end however due to the weekend I have been unable to get any answers. We have talked to the salesman and the manager on duty without success. He basically said things go wrong and this is your car.

Re: used car purchase

He's right. the paperwork to unsell a car and then switch one to you is too much of a hassel for them to want to do it for you.
