Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

i purchased a shed 2 yrs ago at a shed dealer, i gave a check and a credit card for the purchase to be divided in two. i left and they delvered the product a week later as scheduled. now i received a bill from a collection agency claiming that the manager at the store i made that purchase at never put the card through for 2803.00 they say that i owe them that amount. what are my rights now 2 years later. this isnt my fault i did what i was supposed to doat that time, the receipt i have says that they dont deliver unless the balance is paid. help please...

If in fact you neveer paid, then you owe for the bill. Certainly you recognized that the charge for $2800 did not come through your credit card. You got the shed cheap to use for two years. like a no interest loan. Time to pay up, though.
