Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Your money is no good here.

Is a establishment allowed to decline your purchase because you are paying in pennies? I had two dollars in pennies and the store would not accept.

Pennies are "legal tender" and should be accepted. I do not know of any law that would require a store to accept them, but I cannot understand why they would not.
