How do I get an unfair credit dispute off of my report?

First, you have to complain in writing to the company that put it on the credit report. Second, you have a right to ask the credit agencies to investigate. Third, if this doesn't work, depending on the facts, you have a right to sue to have it removed. You also have the right to attach an explanation to the credit reports.
