Usually five years from the date the card was ordered, the date is was last charged on, or the date the last payment was made on it, whichever comes last.

If no written agreement, and most of the time collection companies cannot locate the agreement, it is 4 years from last payment. There are many defenses to these cases. It may be worth having someone who handles these cases look at it for a nominal fee. I do handle these cases. Want to know the law?
