is this true, You have to contact the IRS lien clerk to remove the lien when the 10 years has expired.

If it is past 10 years will a Federal tax lien, Can it be expired and taken off your credit report?

Typically, they expire of their own terms. Take a look at the document itself. Last one I saw said that on its face.
