Consult with an attorney as to the amount involved and have them review the contract, listen to your concerns and advise you of your best course of action. If the contract has a provision for attorneys fees, you may be able to recover those as well. The amount involved will determine in which court the claim must be filed. The contract may also invoke certain statutory procedures you must follow before filing a claim.
