Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

Hello, My mother has been driving my vehicle for the past month. My license has been suspended for 1 month becaus I have been unable to pay for a ticket I received. With all that said, she has been pulled over by patrol officers 3 times in the past month. She has been given zero tickets those 3 times. Each time they say they thought it was me driving and my license is suspended and let her go. Is this legal? How can these officers randomly run her tags. I she is not breaking any road violations?

Officers can run anybody's tag at any time. There is nothing illegal about that. Your mother on the other hand, can and maybe should talk to a civil lawyer about suing them for her harassment. It will certainly get their attention.
