Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Permenant Disability

What is the maximum payment possible for a permenant 7% disability of the left knee? I had to have an ACL replacement. The company would like to settle the case and I don't know what is a reasonable offer. I don't have full capabilities of my knee as far as movement and limitations. I've had to cut back on my activities.

Re: Permenant Disability

There is no way to tell you a specific value. It depends on your limitations and restrictions as determined by your doctor. You may also need vocational rehabilitation, which increases your entitlement. Also if your other knee was involved may also be a factor. You should see a private attorney in your area. Usually the initial consultation is free. Good Luck
