Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I lost my job two months ago. I have fallen behind on child support payments. My driving privileges have been suspended until I make a purge payment. I have been offered a job but it requires a valid drivers license. What can I do?

Your license usually never gets suspended until you stop being proactive in your case, so I assume you are far more than 2 months behind. If you sit down with someone at child support and outline the situation, and are willing to make a good effort, you may be able to cut a deal.

If you can't you may wish to retain counsel.
