Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

getting visitation back

My son was removed from my home by DCFS for abuse. I am the NCP and the father is the CP. I finished a case plan and the case was closed a year ago. Now, the CP will not let me have visitation unless supervised. Can he do that, or can I get him for contempt? Our divorce decree states I have standard visitation.

Re: getting visitation back

If the DCFS case has been closed, then the divorce decree would control those relationships. You should seek counsel to enforce the terms of the divorce judgment.
