Legal Question in Insurance Law in Illinois

a car rear ended my grandson our car not hurt other broke head light they have no insurance we have full coverage they called my insurance and told them it was our fault and that I offered them a check at the scene to cover damages not true at all I park in front of other car and would not let him leave untill police arrived. can I do anything about them calling my insurance and saying I offered a chek? Thanks
