Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Indiana

Internet Domain Protection?

I recently purchased an Internet domain name for a new community based website I am creating. I plan on using the website as a directory for local parks, theaters, bars/clubs, local events board and chat rooms. Yesterday I received an email from a person informing me she operates a support group that uses the same name I purchased as my domain name for my website--further more she told me I couldn't use the name. I checked online with the Copyright & Trademark website's for the Fed. government and from what I can tell, no one owns the copyright or trademark for the domain name of my new site. What are my rights? I want to continue to use my domain name and finish building my new site, what can I do to get rid of this lady from the support group?
