attorneys responsibilities
if i hire an attorney to answer a civil suite, pay him, and he assures me the suite has been answered, but later learn that he did not file answer and a default judgement has been entered against me do i have any options left.

You may be able to move the court to set aside the default judgment based on the failure of your counsel. If the court will not, you may have a cause of action against your original attorney for legal malpractice.
