Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Kentucky

conflicts of interest check list for attorneys and paralegals

I am looking for iformation for a paper I am writing for my legal ethics class. I must make a check list for different forms of conflicts of interest. I must make a check list for the following potential conflicts:

1. a new client.

2. a new matter for an existing client.

3. a prospective paralegal employee.

4. a prospective attorney employee.

What information would you need to conduct a conflicts check on those individuals listed above.

I don't even know where to start looking for such information. Please help.

You need to find the publication on legal ethics from your local state bar. Alot of this information will probably be online.

Most, if not all, bar associations publish information for attorneys to know what the ethical rules are, and that's where you need to go. They probably already have checklists.
