A good criminal lawyer can be of great assistance to you. You cannot win by yourself. The Judge will always believe the police officer over you. Should the judge take your word over the officer, he is in fact stating the officer lied. Then that officer cannot testify again in any case. A good lawyer can get around that, and assist you in these charges. You have to decide: is it worth the money for a good lawyer, or facing a jail term?
