open indictments

If you are in Superior Court, I would hope that:

1. You have an attorney; and

2. You have asked your attorney about this matter.

It is unclear from what you are describing what you mean by charges.

Indictments are charges that a grand jury issues that lead to your arraignment and disposition.

Charges can be a district court matter or some thing else.

Are you saying that you that there are 57 indictments against you???

Re: open indightments

If 10 of the charges were indicted in Superior Court, the remaining 47 may still be pending in District Court, or they may have been dismissed. All dismissals of this nature are generally without prejudice, meaning the prosecutor can bring them back at any time.

Feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.
