what can i do about exposed pipe that is causing burns to my family. i am not able to complete the repair myself. i have asked the landlord to fix this several times and he has not is no longer returning my phone calls

Call the board of health in your town. They should make the landlord fix the problem.

Contact the Town health department and they will require the landlord to fix the problem.
