Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I am currently 16 and i turn 17 on the 22nd of November.

My question is:

When i turn 17, can i leave my home without my parents calling the police on me and making me come home?

I live in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan

No. Your parents or legal guardians have authority over you until you are 18, unless you have become legally emancipated, which is a procedure through the courts.
