Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I am wondering if there is any way for me to stop the child support process after it has been started. I live in Michigan and the order was just given. I feel terrible that they are asking for so much, as the father of my children is in a very bad period in his life. He lost his business and simply does not have the money. The last thing I want is for him to end up in jail and not be able to be a father to his children because of this. I am not struggling. I feel like I made the wrong choice by doing this, and I feel like it's my responsibility to fix it. Help!

Just get the order entered and don't collect on it. When he gets it together, you can work something out. Remember, the support is for the kids. You could get hit by a bus tomorrow. His financial obligation should be enforceable. It'll keep him honest.
