Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Michigan

Pornographic Limits/Moral Distinction

I would like to know if there is any manor in which I can propose a new law. I know very little of the rights that pretain to this particular field. I just have a question. I am a young student. As a young member of my country I find it very dimeaning and an obstruction of my personal privacy when pornographic images or headlines that read ''the number one way to hide an affair'' are displayed through a homepage or pop-up. Are those all legal? I would think that to preserve the value system on which we based our country that we would prohibit some obviously immoral images from reaching our youth. Am I wrong? I am among many in my opinion field. Is there any way that this outrageous action can be stopped? I'm sure I'm not the first to ask this question. I know I will not be the last. I also know that our country was not founded as a country of conformity or insane habits. If we felt it was incorrect, we had something to say about it. I believe I can correct this, and I will try my best. There must be a way.

Write your state and federal legislators. On the other hand, the fact that you are constantly bombarded with these images has not effected you. Bill Stern 248-353-9400
