firing the accused then rehiring

i was sexually harassed by a cook at a resturant i work at.I took the complaint to management who did an investigation and the employee admitted his wrong doings.the employee i was told was fired and was not allowed back with the company.a week later he was rehired and i recieved a write up and a weeks suspension for contacting corporate about the situation.My job is now being threatened because i know the harasser is still employed.is it legal for them to rehire this person and to terminate my employement because of it

I would suggest you contact the Michigan EEOC and file a complaint. They will investigate and determine if you have any legal recourse, such as for wrongful termination, discrimination, or retaliation.
