Not stopping for a school bus with flashing yellow lights

Is it illegal to not stop for a school bus when the bus has yellow flashing lights? Was ticketed for not stopping for a school bus.

Thanks

The statute requires stopping for red flashing lights. If you need further assistance, feel free to give me a call. John C. Talpos (http://www.Mich-Lawyer.com)

It is my understanding under the statute (257.682) that the red lights must be actuated. This is a 3 point violation and you should fight it. Please contact me to discuss the matter further. Office (248) 737-7000 or 24 hour voice mail/pager (800) LAW-6685
