Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

I am an authorized user on a credit card that was in my grandmothers name - I made all the charges to the account - She has passed away and the card has gone to collection due to her passing - I originally set up with the collection agency to make payments on the balance until I receive my inheritance from the estate and will pay it off at that time - I was told that they would not make a claim against the estate as long as I made my payments - The worker that was handling my case has been removed from it and the new lady is telling me that they are going to put a claim against the estate even though I have made the aforementioned arrangement. I have asked to speak with a supervisor and was told everyone was out to lunch - What recourse to I have? All I want is for the original arrangement to stand - I am not trying to get out of the bill and do not want it billed to the estate.
