what can a bank do if you owe money on a checking account if you don't have a job, and don't own anything except an unemployment check

They can sue you and get a judgment and try to collect, put a lien on property you own, garnish bank accounts, etc. If you don't own anything and don't work there isn't a whole lot you can do, not until you find a job where they can garnish your wages.
