You have not exactly asked a question, but I am going to go out on a limb here, you are facing your first criminal charge, no criminal record, but you are facing a gun charge, perhaps the unlawful possession of a weapon and you feel that the gun was found by the police as a result of an illegal search. I would need more information (like seeing the police reports) to even begin to make a determination if the search was illegal, but if this is your situation, you should get an experienced criminal lawyer, a gun charge potentially brings you under a statute which is known as the graves act (again I do not know the actual charge that you are facing) which means that you could be facing mandatory jail time. I would be happy to speak to you about it further (201)-894-9498, I never charge a consultation fee, but bottom line, if you have been charged with unlawful posssession of a hand gun, GET A LAWYER, all the best.

I would need to know what type of gun charge, since the penalties for different offenses with guns vary widely. Neverthless, any gun charge carries serious penalties, even if you are a first offender. As to the illegal search and seizure, I would need to know more before I could address that issue as well. Please contact me to discuss this case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
