I would need more information before I even began to attempt to answer the question. The conspiracy charge is in connection with what? No one can absolutely predict the outcome of a case (maybe with a few exceptions). The only thing that an experienced criminal lawyer can do is get the discovery and carefully review it and advise you of what the potential outcome would be if you decide to plea or the worst outcome if you choose to go to trial. Generally if your attorney works out a plea bargain with the prosecutor, you have a better idea of what the penalties will be based on the plea deal. If you choose a trial, the lawyer can only properly prepare, present your best defense and argue to a Judge or Jury that based on the evidence you should be found not guilty. No one can necessarily predict the ultimate outcome especially based on the limited info that you have provided. Please call me and I would be happy to discuss it further (201)-894-9498, all the best

If the police statement says you were not involved in the crime then I don't see any basis for arresting you. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
