Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

I rent an apartment in a co-op building. My upstairs neighbor has a dog and it barks loudly every night between 11PM and 6AM. I have complained to my landlord (apt owner) and the building management on several occasions. They told me they had sent a letter to the neighbor about the noise issue but it has not helped so far. Do I have any legal recourse against my neighbor if the building management is unable or unwilling to resolve this issue?

First check the co-op regulations to see if they allow dogs or only of a certain size. Next complain to the Co-op board. If that does not help and the barking is at late or very early hours you can file a noise complaint with the local municipal court.
