A one year loss of license, community service and a fine of $300 for a first offender and a two year loss of license and possible jail sentence as a second or subsequent offender.

You need an attorney, badly.

Give me a call.

If it is a first offense there is a suspension of driving priviledges and also a fine plus other penalties if the judge so imposes, if it is a second offense there is usually jail time involved. Did your friend have his own insurance on another car? Please call if you wish to discuss further. 732-286-2170.
