Legal Question in Intellectual Property in New York

Domain names

I own alot of domain names that don't have the first dot. ie wwwwool.com wwwcotton.com ect. Please let me know the legal rights to these names in regard to setting up web sites using this method.Thank You

Some of the other attorneys on this list might have a more knowledgeable answer, but I am not aware of any restriction on domain names that have "www" as part of the second level domain name. Seems to me the bigger problem will be a practical one: people might be confused in what the actual address is. However, if you are using the "www" as a means around infringing or squatting on an existing domain name, in my opinion, that tactic puts you at legal risk.
