landlord and tenant

i have a case settlement for $50 thousand my lawyer is charing me 331/3 for the work,when i ask how much he gets he keep telling me that he get back to me,i havent sigh no papers yet for the settlement it was spoke on it.what can i do can i change my mind and take it to trial or i can't do such thing.please help

I would listen to my lawyer and take the money and run. Obviously your lawyer has weighed your chances in front of a conservative, Republican, home owner, Westchester County jury and believes that $50,000 is a fair and reasonable settlement. Moreover, your lawyer probably worked very hard to get you that settlement offer, work out your lein, deal with a tight fisted insurance company and honestly speaking deal with your concerns.

And a third of your recovery is the industry standard.
