Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York
personal lawsuit ??
Here is my situation, my wife and i lost 2 children past 2 years she was in deep depression and needed help. she picked up and left after given support from a couple to do so. she moved in with this couple who clearly knew she needed mental help they supported her in leaving me for no reason, her to quit school and job, and to have unprotected sex with several random men in there household. all of this within 1 month of leaving me. they did nothing to help her only to make her go deeper into her issues, she was finally broke out of there manipulation by her mom and forced to go get help. can a lawsuit be brought up against this couple for making her much worse off then she was, and possibly so bad she will never be normal again? this is in NY state... please help, we are still married and i do still love her and she does I, I know all her actions were from her illness and the brainwashing of this sadistic couple. This has caused major pain in both our lives and if we get back together it will be very hard to work out all the problems this couple caused her and I.... Please help!!!!

First, I am very sorry for the loss of your two children. That is a very difficult thing to cope with for any parent, especially a mother.
Depending on what the couple knew, and when they knew it, as well as some other facts, it is possible to bring a suit but it will have some real difficulties. It is not a run of the mill case.
