Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Liability on lease/rental/sale of RV
How can I protect myself if I lease with option to buy my RV? The party leasing it will pay monthly payment and insurance. They will use it to travel for their work, and may buy it after 12-18 months.

Re: Liability on lease/rental/sale of RV
You are asking a very difficult quetstion. It is very difficult to protect yourself from every possibility. A well drafted contract can protect you as much as possible. You will want to retain title to the RV until it is paid in full, further you will need to be an additional insured on their car insurance. Due to the potential value of the sale you will want to retain the services of an attorney in order to protect your interestts as much as possible.
