divorce

divorced in 2000 have shared parenting, everyother weekend with father never taken for the weekend in 8yrs, can we still go back to court over financial matters have 3 children one not his biological, makes over 100000. as commerical loan officer, I make 20000. as office manager & have kids all the time, I am struggling do I have any way to take him back to court

If you specifically reserved jurisdiction for the court to modify an existing spousal support, that issue may be brought before the court by filing a motion.

Modifying an existing child support order or establishing a new order of support can be brought before the court as long as at least one of the children is still a minor.

If you have an existing order of child support, you have a right to a modification every three years. You can modify an order of support that is less than three years old if there is a change of circumstances.

You may do this by asking the CSEA that adminsters the order to perform an administrative adjustment review of the order or by privately filing a motion with the court that issued the order. Having the order modified by the CSEA is free, but the process takes a long time. Filing privately can be costly, but the result is usually achieved in a more timely manner.
