at what age can a child choose which parent to live with and how does a child go about doing it legally?

There is NO age prior to 18 and finishing high school, or age 19, at which a child can make a binding choice as to whosaid child wants tohave custody. A child's wishes are only one of some 30 factors that the Court must consider in determining what is in the child's best interests.
