Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Recently our son's mother and stepfather have cut off contact with me, not allowing me to call or even see our son! They changed their phones to some "private restrictions" so that only certain calls can go through! I am a little behind on child support but does that matter? Does the fact that I'm behind in support give them the right to cut my son out of my life????

In Ohio, the duty to pay child support is independent of visitation rights. That means that they cannot disregard court ordered visitation and contact regardless of whether or not you are current on your child support payments or not.

The solution here would be to bring contempt of court proceedings against them in the court which terminated your marriage and set up child support and visitation schedules.
